Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was FANTASTIC and of course super DELISH! We spent it with my family at our home. We have not spent Thanksgiving with my family for the last 3 years so I was so excited for my Momma's home cookin. We had a great Thanksgiving, did some Black Friday shopping ( nothing crazy.....we slept in!), and to finish the night we drove through the Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork. I hope everyone else had a good holiday, now time for Christmas! Here are a couple of pics from Thanksgiving, I will have to post later about some of the crafts & recipes I have been making for the holidays, I've got some good ones! Happy Holidays friends! XO

So I'm trying to get in the "habit" of working out everyday. So far I'm off to a rocky start. But I'm hoping to get there! I like to work out at night with the hubster but I find that when I wait to work out at night with him, there are too many distractions that come up. So I am trying to do my workout in the morning.....which is soooo hard for me! I am not a morning person. I like to wake up and slowly get a start to my day. I just don't have the motivation or drive until after 10:00. To be honest I'm quite bitchy first thing in the morning. Mornings are just not my cup of tea. Hence why I am blogging at 11:30 at night. Anyhow, I have been getting some good ideas from Pinterest. I am a Pinterest addict, really it's a problem. I would love to hear suggestions from others on what inspires them and what they do to stay healthy. Here are some of the things I have been using for inspiration........
One thing I am definitely not good at is eating breakfast. And if I ever did eat, it for sure was not something healthy. I found this really easy idea on Pinterest and I decided to try it out. I love it! I use a low fat vanilla greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of cubed fresh fruit, 1 tsp. honey, and 2 tbs. of granola. I make 4-5 at a time and put them in the fridge. Jory and I can just grab them and go! Click here for the link to the recipe.

Most of you know that I used to be a gymnast, dancer and cheerleader. I used to be flexible. I used to be strong. I used to be in shape. Ugh! This picture is definitely inspiring to me.I love everything about this November promise.
And of course you have to choose to do something. Like me getting my butt up and doing that dreaded morning workout! I am really trying, and to help me keep focused I have made some goals. One of my goals is to loose just 1 pound a week for the next 8 weeks.....wish me luck! I'll let ya know how it goes!

Man I don't know how you Moms out there stay sane when your kiddos are sick!? I obviously only have what some people would call "pets" but in our house they are part of the family and we LoVe them so! My sweet Batman has been so sick with a cough/asthma for the last 3 weeks! It's been breaking my heart to hear him wheeze and cough! Plus it continues through the night so I haven't had a peaceful night of sleep for some time....... I can't imagine how I will feel when I have sick kids because the cat is killing me. So to all you mommas out there...I commend you! I can only imagine what you feel like when your little ones are sick. So until that day comes (and if you ask my mother, it can't come soon enough), I will continue treating the furry ones around this house as kiddies and worry and fuss over them ;)

Hello friends! So it's been awhile since I have even looked at this blog let alone update it. I have been so not motivated I guess you could say, but I'm back and ready to re-commit haha! I also have decided to make my blog public again......not sure why I decided that but I did!

So we haven't been up to much since my last post clear from last year! Things have been good at our place! We stayed busy all summer, played as much as we could. Things are starting to slow down for us now, I don't know what we will do? It drives us crazy to not have something to do. I guess we can start working on all the projects we've been meaning to start, the ones that we say we will do but never have time.... I think I will start a new exercise routine. I have not worked out in a LONG time and I AM a fatty now because of it. Sooooo I think that is going to be my new obsession. Hallelujah!

I will post a couple of pics of what we have been up to in the last year. Like I said nothing to exciting, just the typical summer stuff for us. I hope everyone has been doing fantastic. I am excited to reconnect with my blogging friends! Loads of LOVE xo

We picked up a new hobby this winter. We did a TON of snowshoeing up Santaquin Canyon and at the Nordic Center @ Sundance. We bought season passes and it included the Nordic Center so we were pretty stoked on that!

Of course we did a whole bunch of this! Our FAVE hobby!All my girlfriends are having sweet babies! I love all their babes mucho!
We didn't do as much boating as we would have liked to but we still made a couple lake trips to Yuba, Powell, Bear Lake and good ol' Utah Lake

We went to Yellowstone with my parents and had the most amazing weekend trip! We stayed in this dive of a hotel in Montana, ate fantastic pizza and beer, and got attacked by a crazy bird!
This was my highlight of the summer! I did my first ever overnight backpacking trip! Don't ask me how I survived with all these boys! This is something I have wanted to do my entire life. I guess you could say I crossed it off my bucket list. Seriously was so much fun. We are talking about doing another one here soon, and maybe one in early winter. I can not wait!
Jory and I got away together for a relaxing weekend in Denver. We've been there before but we just love that city! And of course we had to go to a Rockies game while we were there, Seth Smith is just as sexy in person as he is on TV! We had a great weekend together and made some really great memories that we will never forget!

Jory's dad took all the kids to Cabo for Thanksgiving for a week. The hotel we stayed at was gorgeous but not all that fun haha. The pool was freezing cold and they had NO hot tubs....whats wrong with them! Still it was a good time and we got to do some much needed relaxing. Here are a couple of pics from our adventures.

So I was so so so freakin excited to hear that it was snowing at home while we were in Cabo! Ha most people think we are insane but we LOVE the snow! Unfortunately just because it had snowed we could not go snowboarding because Sundance had not opened yet. Thankfully with more snow it finally opened! Jory and I went up opening weekend but the back mountain was still closed and of course the snow was not that wonderful:( However they opened the back mountain this last weekend and we all decided to head up on Saturday. The snow still wasn't

great but good enough to have a good time. I seriously LOVE to snowboard. I did however find out that I am completely out of shape.....ugh! Luckily my foot is feelin much better with the screw out.... so I guess now would be a good time to get in shape?? Oh hell I hate being fat and out of shape it really BLOWS!
Trav finally can buy his own beer...man that means I'm getting OLD. So of course we loaded up and filled all our pockets with cans. Can't you tell in the next picture, my coat would almost not zip up. Jory had one in his pant pocket which decided to explode on one of our runs...it looked like he peed his pants:) Thank goodness for waterproof pants or he would have been one cold boy!

It was a pretty good day as far as weather goes. There was a little fog up high earlier in the day but for the most part sunny skies. At this point in the day my legs were on FIRE. I didn't think I was going to make it down the mountain let alone another run. Thankfully Jesse and Justin came and found us and took us to play on some jumps they had found. Jory likes to race down the mountain....my legs not so much.

It was a fun day and I can not WAIT to do it all winter long!

Catching Up

Here is the latest happening......

1. Jory and I just got back from Cabo....it was fun but I would have rather had Thanksgiving with my family. We have been out of town for Thanksgiving for the last 2 years.
2. Had my final surgery on my foot! Hardware is removed, snowboarding here I come!
3. Jory and I indulged and bought ourselves season passes to Sundance. We can not wait to go!
4. My family is coming to stay at our house for Christmas! I can't wait to see them!
5. I have not bought a Christmas tree yet......better get on that!
6. We just barely took down our Halloween decorations, I know we are total SLACKERS!
7. I am attempting to make my first quilt with the help of my aunt Laurie. I'm sure she is regretting her decision.
8. Jory's truck is broken and I truly hate it! Hopefully he can get it working and trade the bugger in!
9. Hoss came to visit and he wasn't here long enough! I miss him so much everyday, I hope he will come home for the Christmas but you never know with him.....
10. Travy turned 21 finally! We took him out to Tavernacle and spent the night in SLC. Then we partied the night away with my parents out in Wendover. It was such a great time, I don't remember when I had that much fun last!

So I have so many freakin pictures so sorry for the overload but I really have a problem. I take sooooo many and then I can't choose which ones to post! I'm leaving out so many good ones but hey what do ya do? These didn't upload in order so sorry about the randomness. This pic is of Jory when we first arrived in Newport. This was the first and only night we stayed in a hotel. We came to this spot to see a lighthouse but it was already closed for the day:(

Boiler Bay

I'm not sure why but I was so surprised that Oregon had dunes....not sure if I just thought it was a Utah/Idaho thing but we discovered this dune in the middle of nowhere! I think that it's so crazy that you are driving along the ocean and in this thick forest area and BOOM there are dunes lol! I totally want to go ride right next to the ocean one day!

If you have pets and like to travel with them then go to OR. It is one of the biggest pet friendly states ever. Rickster got this cute hoodie and one of the doggy boutiques we stopped at. Love the tongue, it's always hangin out haha!

We did a little wine tasting while driving through Nehalem Bay. Oh boy they were all so delightful but we bought the Huckleberry Wine. We are going to try and save it for our next anniversary but I'm not sure if I can withhold until then!!

This was the first cool beach we stopped at called Hug Point. It was beautiful and quiet! Most of the beaches and towns you stop in are busy and crowded. I think this was still early enough that most people weren't up and movin yet. Sleeping in a car isn't the comfiest so you wake up at the butt crack of dawn!

This is on the beach in Seaside bright and early. Seaside was a darling little town, one that I would want to go back and stay in. We tried to go to the Aquarium on the beach but it wasn't open that early so we walked the beach and found treasures.

This is in Seaside. We walked the shops on main and got to see all the neat old cars that rolled into town for the car show.

On the pier in Astoria. There were so many cute little boats like this one chuggin along the river. Astoria had gorgeous gorgeous views in every direction. Definitely a beautiful place to visit.

Day 1 and 2 of Oregon....

So J and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary on a 5 day road trip in Oregon. It was seriously so freakin fun. We did it true road trip style and made a bed in the back of my car and slept there 3 of the 4 nights. We left from Utah, headed through Idaho and up to the bottom of Washington, then down through the Oregon Coast into California. It was quiet the adventure. The first day was just drive drive drive. We slept in Boise at the Shilo Inn parking lot. It sucked so bad because the sprinklers went off in the middle of the night and blasted the crap out of my car. It was like trying to sleep through a hurricane. The next day we headed out and finally reached Oregon and Washington. We drove through some really cute little cowboy towns like Baker and Pendleton. Jory got a nice hefty speeding ticket while on our way.....$287.00. Ya he was pretty excited about it. When we reached the Washington/Oregon border the views started to get much better. We followed the Columbia River all the way up, which was really interesting. Our rivers here are tiny compared to that river. They have huge cargo ships that travel up and down the river exporting goods. On the way to our first stop we went throught the Columbia River George area. We stopped at Multnomah Falls which were AMAZING. By far the best waterfalls I have ever seen. It was pouring rain so we didn't do the full hike but we did go to the middle bridge to take some pics. Our first real day of site seein was in Astoria. It's a real old town with Victorian style homes. Seriously so cute. We went to a light house there were we could look over the whole river. Then we went down and walked the pier checking out some of the shops. It was late so there wasn't a whole lot to do. There is a huge bridge that went on for miles across the opening of the river to Washington. We took a stroll out there to check things out....there was nothing on the other side lol. After driving through most of Astoria we headed to the next town called Seaside. Seaside was a quaint little town right on the beach. It's full of tourist shops and restaurants. We finally got some dinner at around 10:00 and then pulled into a hotel parking lot to catch some ZZZZZZZ. More pictures to come of Astoria and Seaside.......

Okay so I totally suck at updating the blog......not enough time these days. Here is a summary of the latest happenings. I will TRY to get pictures posted but not makin any promises lol.

1. Jory just got over the flu....I am pretty sure I should never have kids because I can't bring myself to help clean after my loving husband. The smell KILLS me!
2. Me and J celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We took a 5 day road trip to Oregon, it was beautiful and we had so much fun.
3. We finally got our backyard finished......it only took us 5 years to do it! Our fence will be finished next week!
4. I am already planning and buying shiz for my Halloween party. I LOVE Halloween, it should happen every month.
5. We spent some time with Neil, Jo, Jace and Callan in Lake Powell over Labor Day weekend. I can never get enough of Lake Powell it truly is heaven on earth.
6. I have gained 6 pounds :( My new goal is to get back to working out everyday. I want to lose some much needed pounds for our Cabo trip in November.
7. I have to have another surgery to remove the screw in my foot in November. I can't wait because it's causing me constant pain.
8. Our softball team still sucks this year. We have only won 2 games this season. It's definitely an improvement from last year when we won ZERO games. At least we have a blast playing.
9. We are going to Wyoming this weekend to see my parents and spend the weekend in Yellowstone Park. It's gorgeous at this time of year and my dad is an expert at getting the bulls to bugle. So neat!
10. We attended Baby Krew and Baby Aydree's blessing over the weekend. Congratulations Jaci and Callan and Luke and Ashley, you have the most adorable babies EVER!

I really am going to make it a goal to update this thing at least once a month. Wish me luck! Hope everyone is great....miss you all!

So for Memorial we headed down to Lake Powell to catch some rays, it was a really fun trip. We usually go to Antelope Point but we decided to shorten the drive a bit and headed to Bullfrog. My lil bro and Jess rode down with us and we met up with Collin and Whit who were already down there. Casey and Mel drove down late Friday night. It wasn't as HoT as I hoped it would be but still it was plenty warm, we all burned pretty much! I didn't take our camera so these are just a few pics off my brothers camera, Mel took more pics that I will put on later. It was a sweet little vaycay, definitely needed. The sun felt oh so good......the water on the other hand was oh so COLD! We finally got brave enough and jumped in but man you had to talk yourself into it. Even the Rickster took a swim! We explored a lot of new canyons that we had never really been in, Hansen Canyon being one of my FaVs, Jess even showed us this cool new short hike called the "CrAcK". I tried to make it to it but only got half way before the foot wouldn't let me go any further......next time. We ended up getting down there mid-morning on Friday and couldn't launch the boat because the wind was sooooo bad. I ended up drinkin a couple brewskies in the boat in the parking lot and took a nap LOL. We decided to just pull the boat out every night and took it up to the hotel parking lot where Collin and Whit were stayin, we all slept in the boat, it was so romantic ;) Anyways.... it was a fun trip, can't wait to do it again!! Thanks to J Boy and all my friends...oh ya and my lil bro for making it a fun and memorable trip! Love you all!!!

Yep! The Testy Festy....Me and J Boy went to this last weekend, it was pretty much amazing LOL!

So we decided to head to the parents place this weekend......they like to call it God's Country.....I say to hell with that!! It freakin snowed all weekend, not just a few flakes, a full on blizzard! It still was a really great weekend. I love going home and spending time with my parents, they are the BEST! There definately is not a dull moment.........EVER. My parents bought us tickets to the Sportmens Banquet, I had never been to the one in Wyoming but it was a GREAT time!! I loved every second of it. I got to participate in my first ever live auction, I was pretty stoked about it....really. I bid on a .410/22 gun but was out bid........DANG IT! Then I bid on a PiNk BB gun and ta'da I got it!!! We had a delicious dinner...Prime Rib and lot's of laughs. No one won anything but we figured that's the Blackett Curse haha. We did a ton of loungin and watching Man Tracker. If you have not watched Man Tracker it is a MUST. Soooo good, we are totally playin Man Tracker this summer in the mountains. I think I'll take my PiNk BB gun along lol! It was a great weekend, thanks Mom and Pa, I LoVe you both soooo much!! Muah!

So St. Geezy was amazing!!!! We rarely take a vacation that is relaxing but this one was just perfect!! Jory, myself and Jessica drove down Friday afternoon and no worries I slept the entire way. When we got there we met up with our friends from down there, Bobby and Kale. We ate at Samurai 21....it wasn't the best sushi we've had but it was okay. After dinner we just went to Kales house and hung out for a bit. Bobby came back to the hotel with us for a sleepover and we got up the next day and went hiking up Snow Canyon. It was a fun short hike then we decided to hit the pool up. We all fell asleep next to the pool, it was so nice ! That night we went to dinner at Texas Road House then went back to the hotel with Andre:) Sunday we got Starbucks and chilled @ Kales house for most of the day playing basketball. We didn't want to come home it was a great weekend and it was even better hangin with friends that we haven;t seen in forever!!

Hallelujah..........it's finally time for some sun and relaxation!! We have decided to take a break this weekend and head to St. George to get a tan;) I am pretty excited to do... drum roll please...........NOTHING lol!! We plan on sitting by the pool and baking!! Well that's not all, but at least the important part right? No we have some other plans as well, hiking up Snow Canyon, the sports bar, probably some shopping and maybe even a little golf! I'm pretty excited to head out, just one more day!! Until then I am just gonna look at this picture of the sunny weather and wish that I was there right now....

Point!

Jory and I went to Moab for a little weekend getaway. It was so much fun, we just relaxed and did whatever we wanted. I have a favorite Mexican restaurant that I love love love in Moab....La Hacienda, oh so delicious you gotta try it! We hiked Dead Horse Point and took a gorgeous drive. Saturday night we bought a bottle of wine that was made in Moab and went back to the trailer, well we then realized that we didn't have a cork screw or cups!! Haha I know we are retarded!! So we headed to the local grocery store and bought plastic wine glasses and a cork screw. It was so funny, but it will be a memory we will never forget! The weather was beautiful, we had such a great time, we got to spend some time outdoors and made lots of great memories!! And of course I take a million pictures when we go anywhere so here are a few of them LOL...I know I have a problem!

So I know that I suck at keeping this thing updated but I will try to be better. Well we went to the dunes Easter weekend, it was great fun! We are so busy these days I swear we never sit for 2 seconds! We headed out with Jory's dad, my brother and a bunch of friends to chill for a few days. It was nice to relax and have nothing to do for a few days. I hope everyone had a great Easter we missed all the rest of our families that we could not be with!

So for me and Jory's birthdays we went to a hockey game! It was great fun, Jory's mom and Donovan, Paige and Kaden, Bob, Jody and the boys, and Jaci and Callan all took us out and it was a BLAST! I had never been to a hockey game so I was super stoked!! We had a couple of brewskies watched a few fights (my favorite part) and enjoyed the game. Thanks everyone for a fun birthday weekend!

We just got back! Yep Jory and I went down to Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo and we had a BLAST! Jory and I go every year together and always have a great time! We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and Bob, Jody and the boys were stayin there too! Here are some fun pics from our weekend.Jesse boy in the dummy ropin!

He caught on all 3 trys so that put him in the finals for the next day. Unfortunately while he was roping in the finals he stepped on the line and got disqualified. All I can say is lucky for the other kids cause Jesse is so stinkin GOOD! Good Job Jess!

Okay my new favorite place! This is the aquarium at the Bass Pro Shops in the Silverton Lodge and Casino. Oh my goodness it was so neat! The Bass Pro Shop is awesome, you have to check it out if you have never been! And the Silverton Lodge was amazing.....it was gorgeous and has tons of neat things to check out! We have never stayed there but we are for sure going to next time!

This was probably one my best highlights besides the rodeo! This is in the Silverton Lodge at one of the cafes. It's mini bowling in a airstream trailer! Oh my it was so much fun! We were laughing the entire time! You have these tiny little bowling balls and the lanes are so short!

Okay so the BEST part of our weekend was the Rodeo! We went on the final night and had AMAZING seats thanks to Neil! Oh my goodness we LOVED it! We sat 3rd row right in the center of the arena! I can't even tell you how awesome it was! We got some good pics but our camera was dyin so sorry about the blurry ones!

So my little Bro and his girly Onna are living in Logan right now, so I decided that we should start having a date night once a month and meet in the middle since they NEVER come to see us! Anyways Trav and Onna drove down and met us in Salt Lake to do dinner and see the Temple lights! It was a lot of fun and of course I will take any chance to see them, I love to be with them both! Neither of them have driving much in a busy place like SL so Onna was freaking out trying to get there and Trav was not a very good director so it was interesting and funny trying to explain it all to them. Jory and I had to wait FOREVER for them to finally arrive at Happy Sumo. It was okay thought cause we ordered lots of yummy appetizers! We had a great night and I can't wait for our next date night!Trav and Onna at Happy Sumo!

Our Weekend for Thanksgiving!

Jory and I spent Thanksgiving in Fillmore with his family this year. Here are some pics from our weekend. It was a blast! Sorry they are so late!Bobby, Johnse, Brittany, Marci, Jory and Jodi. On our 4 wheeler trip up the canyon. It was cold but fun, I had never been up there before so I loved it!

This was my favorite night! After Thanksgiving dinner we went out to the hot pots in Fillmore. They were so neat! We all just chilled, relaxed and stayed warm!

When we got there someone had already been there before us and built a nice fire. I am not sure who owns the property but they dive down and keep the hot pots cleaned out so they are nice and clean when you get in. Also they didn't smell!

Okay this was so funny, Jory was jumpin on the PoGo stick ( might I add that it was a antique PoGo stick ) and he was showin off doing tricks.......well he biffed it and went flying in to the hot tub. So we are having problems with our Internet for the last few months. It works but has been to slow to up-load pics. We run our Internet through T-Mobile because we do not have a land line. Well anyways Jory called and they said they are switching their provider which has caused a lot of problems. However they said it should be resolved soon! Hopefully so I can keep up with all of our pictures! For now I will up-date a few pics at a time.

The deer hunt! Ha I know this is a bit late but like I said I have tons to catch up on. Jory and I both had Central tags this year so we were pretty excited. Last year I did not draw out, which made me pretty bummed. I still went out and helped J though. This year we decided to go up Santaquin Canyon opening morning. We started hiking in the dark with our mag lights. Lets just say that Jory took me straight up a cliff and then I had to come back down it later. It sucked so bad! It would have been well worth it if we were the only ones in that area but unfortunately we were NOT! We ended up in a really good canyon to spot but there were 3 other guys coming from different directions into the canyon. So we headed back down the cliff. Of course me being as graceful as I am I fell big time and about broke Jory's gun that I was packing. I had so pretty sweet bruises though. Later that night we went back up Santaquin Canyon but to a different spot where we saw zero deer. The next few days we went out west on the desert. We saw a ton of does but no bucks. I was so frustrated, we would hike our butts of and see nothing! Anyways Jory went out with all the guys one day while I was working and they saw a couple of nice bucks, Neil and Bob both filled their tags. Jory and I kept at it until the last day.......we just had no luck! That's okay cause we still had so much fun! We love to be outdoors and it is always fun to spend time with someone you love doing something you love. Hopefully next year will bring us more luck!

Twilighters

So on Friday night all the girls went to twilight together! It was so much fun! We had pre-ordered our tickets on Fandango.com so that we didn't have to worry about tickets selling out. Our movie was the 10:00 movie and we arrived to sit in line at 6:30. Yes we felt like the biggest DORKS but it was fun and well worth it. During our 3 1/2 hour wait we played games and cards together.......and ate delicious hot dog on a stick! It was a blast even if we did look completely ridiculous. The movie was so GOOD, I have to see it again. Jace and I sat next to each other and we kept preparing each other for the end, we were so sad. We decided that the movie should have been 3 or 4 hours long. After it ended we went to Dennys and had some dinner. All in all it was a excellent night, I can't wait to see it again!

Scentsy Party

So the girls had a night out and went to Thriller at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake. We go every year together thanks to Shantel. We had a small issue with getting there which made us laugh the entire way. Thanks Onstar! Once we got there we had really fun night I look forward to it every year! Thanks Shantel!

Jory and I went to Puerto Vallarta, MX for our honeymoon. It was so beautiful, we loved it! This was a view of the mountain out of our hall window at the hotel. It was funny Jory and I flew out so early in the morning so when we arrived to the hotel we went to our room and fell asleep. We arrived at 2:00 in the afternoon.........don't worry that we slept until the next day!

Oh man those are some SEXY helmets:) This was on our ATV tour. It was so stinkin fun!

Freaky hu! Jory told me to come check this out while we were stopped at the waterfall on our tour. I was so freaked out after this. Creepy crawly all day long!

While on our tour we went to a tequila tasting stop where we learned how tequila was made and tasted some of the different flavors. There were some really good ones so Jory and I bought the Pina Colada flavor.

During our tour we cross this river many times. We were soaked from head to toe and muddy! It made it so much more fun to get muddy.

At our hotel they have a turtle conservation program were they release baby turtles that are born that day into the ocean. They kinda look freaky when they are little. They are pure black in color.

While taking pictures you have to turn the flash off on your camera because the flash will blind the babies. I had to rub my hands in the sand so I had no other scent but the sand on them. They say the turtles will sense the smell and come back to the beach to lay eggs.

Jory and I did some sea kayaking at the hotel.

As you see by my face the waves fly you back in to the shore. I was just praying that we didn't turn side ways because we had been watching people all day come in and biff it on shore!

Jory and I had a very nice and romantic dinner and then walked the beach after.......it was the perfect night!

The airplane ride home. We were sad to leave but ready. I missed my kids! We had a pretty scary ride home on our first plane. My suggestion is to never fly with mexican airlines and don't go to the Mexico airport. We came very close to crashing on our landing and then almost missed our flight in Mexico City! We had a blast and took so many other pics that I just don't have time to post.

So Jory and I are getting ready for the BIG day! We love Halloween and always have fun making costumes each year. Last year we were trailer park KEN and BARBIE. We found that Jory is really talented with puff paint:) I bought this awful beer tee shirt at Walmart in a 2XL and made it into a dress. Jory as you can see made good with a pair of his wranglers! I have to say he does have nice legs! he he! This was a pic from Jaci and Callans Halloween party, I am excited to post pics of our new costumes for this year!!

Our wedding was FABULOUS if I do say so myself:) Everything just fell in to place and went super smooth! It was a very emotional weekend.........anyone who knows me knows that I am the biggest cry baby, I cry about everything! You will be able to tell in most of my pictures, my eyes are swollen and red. For those of you who don't know my daddy married Jory and I. He got ordained online and did a wonderful job. It made our day even that more special, he said so many fun things about us that made us laugh and cry . Jory and I said our own vows to each other.......yes it made us both super nervous!:) I was sweating and ready to pass out right before the ceremony started, plus bawling my eyes out! We were married in my parents front yard and had dinner and dancing at the silo close by. I loved every second of the entire day! I have so many pictures that I will have to make a few posts but here are some for now! I just want to thank my parents for all thier hard work in preparing for the big event. They did so much with the yard and all the planning so thanks so much, I could have not done it with out you! I love you! And of course Jory's parents, thank you for everything! Mindi and Donovan did our video and it turned out so beautiful and Neil and Jo pulled up chairs and all of our stuff. So thank you Neil, Jo, Mindi and Donovan for everything we love you! And a big thanks to everyone who came and made the long drive to share our special day with us! I wish that we could have invited everyone!

The wedding was AWESOME! Everything turned out AMAZING! So I will get all our pics from our wedding posted as soon as I get them all but for now I will catch up on all my photos from before our wedding!

So on Labor Day Weekend Jory and I were so sick of traveling and being busy so we decided to do nothing at ALL! It was nice to relax and hang out....even though all the things I needed to get finished for the wedding were running through my head. My brother and his girlfriend Onna came down for the weekend and we had a ton of fun. I need to get all the pics from Onna to put on the blog. Anyways Jory and I got up on Monday morning and decided to go for a drive. We ended up going up Payson Canyon and did 1/2 of the Nebo Loop. It was the perfect day! The weather was nice, we dressed in our comfy clothes and took in all the beautiful scenery. I loved every min. of it! We should do it more often. We ended up coming home through Santaquin Canyon instead of going all the way to Nephi. It reminded me of when Jory and I first started dating. We used to get in his truck and just drive. We would end all over the place, Park City, Oakley, Nephi, etc. We had a lot of fun, so I decided we need to make it happen more!

We decided to go swimming at Jory's dads house on Saturday and take Bridger since we have been promising him that we would. We had fun just relaxin and hangin out. I tried to give Bridger some swimming lessons but he didn't want any part of it. At least we taught him how to float.....that's a start!

Jory is in the Summit Ridge Roping Club and last Wednesday they had a buckle ropin. I tried to take some good action shots but it was to dark:( Jory loves to rope and had such a natural ability for it! I think he makes a SEXY cowboy!! Hoss came to visit for the weekend! Yay!! We love him so much.......and we never get to see him. So Wess got married on August 15th and Hoss was the best man, so he came and stayed with us for a few days. We had so much fun! The boys had a small bachelor party at our house which was pretty entertaining if I do say so myself:) I am pretty much one of the guys so......yes I was at the bachelor party! Anyways Jory and I had our bridal pictures on Saturday night in Fillmore so that kinda took up any plans for Saturday. Hoss stayed home and spent some time with his sis. That night when we got back we went up Pole Canyon on the 4-wheelers with Jesse and Hoss. Lets just say that night was pretty entertaining and completely inappropriate!! So Jory and I went up Hobble Creek Canyon to Sunday in the park. My uncle Jim's band was playing up there this year, so a lot of my family was there. We stayed all day and it was a blast! We had a nice steak dinner and danced and listened to the music. They had a pretty good car show this year too! None of us were winners for the raffle drawings but we still had a great time! So Jory and I created a co-ed softball team this year!! I am super excited! We played last year with some friends of ours and had a blast!!! So we decided to make our own team this year. We just picked up our shirts (they got the wrong color but we took em anyways) and now we are ready to roll! We have our first coaches meeting on Tuesday and then games should start not to long after. Central Utah Sheetmetal is our proud sponsor, that is Jory's dad's company. Thanks Neil for your support. I am pretty excited.........lets just hope that we don't suck! I will keep you posted as to how well we do, I am sure we will be city CHAMPS!!!:)

So we decided to go to Lake Powell again over the 24th. It was so much fun, I truly did not want to come home. We went to Bull Frog this time which was fun for me because that is where I always went as a child! This trip we went with some good family friends so there was a bunch of us! We camped out on the beach, our spot was not much of a beach more like a sandy cliff!!:) We stayed in Neils boat which was nice because it has air conditioning. One day we went out to Forgotten Canyon with everyone and hung out, it was a blast! I want to go back already, Powell is always a good vacation!

So I had my first bridal shower! It was so much fun! Mindi, Jaci and Joelle through it for me over the weekend. It was so nice for everyone to come, I really apprecitate it. I don't have any pics but my mom took some so I will get them from her and post em. We played some pretty funny games, there was one that I had to answer questions about Jory and I, for every wrong answer I had to but a piece of bubble gum in my mouth. Don't worry my mouth was so full I could not even answer the questions!!! We had a very yummy lunch and enjoyed the sun. All in all it was really great! Thanks Mindi, Jaci and Joelle it was SUPER!

HE IS A GREAT DAD AND HE DOES SO MUCH FOR OUR FAMILY. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BE THE PERSON I AM TODAY IF IT WEREN'T FOR MY DAD. ANYONE WHO KNOWS MY DAD KNOWS THAT HE LOVES THE OUTDOORS. WE HAVE SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES OF CAMPING AND HUNTING WITH DAD, HE TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT THE OUTDOORS! HE MAY NOT WANT TO FESS UP TO THAT, I STRUGGLE SOMETIMES! So we are back from the lake! I didn't want to come home we had so much fun! I love Powell, I wish I could live there! We drove down way late Wednesday night and arrived at 3:30 in the morning. We were pretty tired but ready to get up and play. We took the small boat out the next day and followed Neil in his big boat to a place where we could float and swim.

Viper came with us in the boat, it was her first time ever I am sure, I'm not so sure she loved it? We found a good spot to swim and ski so we chilled there most of the day. It was funny Neil was cruzin around with Viper in the boat and he is not a big fan of animals so we had to get lots of pics.

We stayed at a newer marina called Antelope Point, it is way nice! The have a restaurant and bar right on the water, we had a lot of fun hangin out there at night (not to mention the food was pretty good!). Friday I woke up super early ready to get out and ski in some calm water, Jaci and Jory got up with me and we took the little boat out to ski and wake board. We had a blast! I have not water skied in years so it was fun to get out again! Jory has never skied before so it was fun to see him on ski's. He looked so funny, he was almost doing the straddles. When he was wake boarding we got him to pull his swim trunks up high so we could see his white legs:) He was doing some funny stuff behind the boat, he kept us laughin.

That day A.J. and Brian were there with their boat so we all went out for a ride and played all day! When we got back to the marina there was a live band that played so we ate and danced all night long! The band was really good they played Friday and Saturday night. We all slept in the motor home and Neil and Jo stayed on the boat. There are lots of pics so I made another slide show.

So we flew to Denver over the weekend with some friends of ours Casey and Melanie Adams. We flew out to go to the Lakewood Motocross National. It was such a blast I didn't want to come home! We have a really good friend who lives out there in Colorado Springs. He is a mechanic for a kid who rides motocross, unfortunately he did not qualify on Friday, the stater in his bike went bad on the last lap. He was sitting in qualifying position so we were pretty bummed. It was kinda nice though because we got to spend more time with Hoss. It was neat to watch all the big guys ride like James Stewart. Hoss got us hooked up with pit passes so we could go anywhere but on the track! The motocross was a night this year so it was nice, no heat stroke! We had so much fun just chillin, we did some shopping and lunch with Hoss. We had a funny trip, just all the little things that went crazy starting with the rental car and Casey drifting it every five seconds! I left the camera in the hotel lobby when we checked out so we had to go clear back for it! Hoss stayed in our room so we slept 3 to a bed (Hoss, Jory and Me) it was precious!!:) We had a ton of fun I can't wait to go back next year! And of course we love seeing Hoss, we take any chance we can with his busy schedule. He travels all over with Trevor his rider going to all the races, so we hardly get to see his little butt! There are so many pictures so I made a slide show of them. Our weekend was great, now we are off to Lake Powell this weekend!

Okay so we thought that we would try to attempt our four wheeler ride AGAIN!:) Fortunately we had better luck this time! We went for a ride up to the tower on West Mountain, and yes I was brave enough to climb the tower! Okay not the entire way up but I was the only girl who even went up the latter! It was cool because we headed up right after dark and we got to watch 2 firework shows! Springville and Orem were having their celebrations so that was fun to watch from up there. Mel took my pic when I was up on the tower so when she sends it to me I will have to post it. I am glad that we had better luck, cause our ride was so much fun!

The girls from work and I had a exciting trip down to Moab. Every other year Utah has a Veterinary Conference in Moab. I attended for my first time 2 years ago and had a blast! This year it was a ton of fun because Ashley was able to go with us. We drove down early and went hiking in Arches National Park. I have been to Moab quiet a few times but I have never had the chance to go to any of the National Parks there. It was such a blast! We did several different hikes through the park but of course we hiked to Delicate Arch. It was amazing, even when hiking in 100 degree weather! After spending most of our day hiking we went back to our room got ready and headed out to dinner. It was nice to spend the weekend with the girls and get outdoors. However the next day we had to sit through lecture after lecture about anesthesia...... it really was not that bad, we learned a bunch of new stuff! Plus they hold our conference at the most beautiful place clear up the canyon. They have a huge screening room with a million different props and posters from all of the films they have filmed in Moab (lots of John Wayne movies and old westerns.......my favorite!). The weekend was definitely great, I look forward to the next one!

So this weekend we were going to go on a four wheeler ride but that didn't quiet happen. See wherever Jory and I go a curse of bad luck follows!!! It's the Blackett curse.......I got it from my parents!:) Anyways, we met up with some friends out at West Mountain on Sunday to go up to the tower for a short ride. Well Casey could not get one of his 2 4-wheelers to start!!! I couldn't believe it, dang the luck! It was funny because it is usually us who has the problem, but our bad luck must have worn off on Casey and Mel. We did eventually after about 3 hours get on on the wheelers to start, so we headed off to Lincoln Beach to meet Casey and Mel. We pulled our 4-wheeler on our trailer so we were just gonna meet Casey and Mel over there ( they took the dirt road on the wheeler from his house). Well we waited for about 30 min. and no Mel and Casey??? So we start heading back to his house thinking that the 4-wheeler must have died or something. I spotted out of the corner of my eye someone clear up the mountain waving us down. Yep...it was them, the wheeler died and they had been pushing for the last 20 min. It was pretty funny! We towed them down to the trailer and loaded em' up! Darn the luck! Although Casey has had a worse case of it then us lately, when they went on their guys weekend he broke his bike so he rented some guys bike and broke that too! He ended up having to buy the guys bike that he broke and take it home!! Poor Casey!

So while I was enjoying my family in Wyoming, Jory went with his buddies and went south to ride dirt bikes. He had a blast, he has not gone for a guys weekend in a long time. I talked to him every night and he had so many cool stories about what they had done that day. Jory, Casey, Luke, Weston and Luke's cousin went and stayed with a relative in Cainsville. They rode dirt bike all weekend long, and took some pretty cool pictures! I will post the rest of the pics on a slide show, they are really neat!

Grad Party!!

Mom had a pretty fun party for Trav for graduation. There was so much good food, I was in heaven!!! Don't worry that I ate 1 hamburger, 2 hotdogs, 3 brownies and so much more!! Yah I am sure I gained 5 pounds! No but really the food was great, we had all of our good family friends over, and it was a blast! Onna's parents came with her brother, Hoot and Libby were there, Betsy and Larry of course and Brad and Jody. Brad and Jody are Onna's aunt and uncle, they are super great people and a blast to hang out with. Oh ya, I forgot about Trav's friends they were there too! Well after we ate some good food we played the Wii. Mom and dad just got one and so we all had to try it out! It was so funny to see all the parents try to play, it was histerical! So on Sunday we wanted to get out and do something fun because the rain had finally let up! There is not much to do in Star Valley ever but especially not on Sundays. So Kyle called and wanted to go shooting. I was game, I love to shoot! So he came over and picked me up and we got everything together. We stopped by the Taylor's house to pick up Trav and Onna. They were working on finishing her room. We painted it over the weekend, it looks so stinkin cute! Anyways off we went down to Hoot's house. He has the most beautiful place ever! Its tucked in by the mountain and the Salt River, I love it there! He has a table and everything set up for shooting, he even has a gong up on the mountain that you can shoot! Well we shot some clays and had a good time but we were in a hurry to head up to hillbilly heaven with everyone so it was a nice short session.

Travis graduated!!! I can not believe it!!! He is getting so old, which makes me feel way OLD. His graduation ceremony was really nice, he looked so cute in his cap and gown. I was so shocked to see how they did their graduation, they all fit on one stage!! His graduating class was larger then usual for up there but man it was so small compared to what we have here!! But I am very proud of him, he is growing up so fast! Now he will be off to college in the fall. He wants to be a diesel mechanic and open up his own diesel shop. He is going to Laramie, WY to attend WyoTech. It is one of the top diesel mechanic schools in the Western US. He has already received a few scholarships, so he is well on his way. Congratulations Trav I am so proud of you!!

So over the weekend Jory and I kept busy working in our yard all day Saturday. We took a trip to Hansen' Greenhouse and bought flowers for our yard! Man I never knew how hard picking flowers out was! I didn't know which ones to get and what colors I liked, they were all so pretty! Well after an hour of walking around and telling Jory that every flower was pretty, we finally made our decisions! So off we went to plant. Well we did get one flower bed done and partially another, but we didn't buy enough so I am going to have to go back. But it looks good, I hope they live! Then on Sunday it was so HOT and we just wanted to get out. We decided to go up to Jory's dads house and swim. It felt so nice, I loved it! We swam all day, and don't worry that we didn't wear sunscreen so we are FRIED!!! It was a good weekend, to bad it is going to rain all this weekend!!:(

So last night we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway with some of our friends. It was so much fun! Casey raced his new race truck it was pretty gnarly! Casey, Luke and Weston are opening their own Diesel Performance Shop, it's called SSS ( Sik Straight Six ). Well everyone came to check out Casey's truck before the race, he had his truck bed pulled out, everyone thought it was for speed or something but little did they know it was only because it was rusted. He won both of his races, he was running 13 seconds! Melanie rode with Casey in his truck, it was funny she had to wear a helmet in the truck! We had so much fun, I want to go again next time he races!

Jory's great grandma Colleen passed away last week. She was such a wonderful person, she LOVED to talk, and talk, and talk! She has been alone for the last 4 years and missed her hubby so much! She got sick a few months ago and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. Needless to say she was VERY ready to go and be with grandpa Nord. She has been telling us all for the last year that she won't be with us much longer because grandpa Nord is coming to get her. It was very sad to see her go but very happy at the same time. She just missed him so much and we all know in our hearts that she is much happier now. We love and miss you grandma Colleen and grandpa Nord!

So I have to write about something so funny! Trav is going to kill me!! So last weekend T.J. and Onna got out her dirt bike and decided to teach Trav how to ride! I can not believe that he has never rode a dirt bike before! Anyways they get him on the bike and he does really well, doesn't have a problem. Well of course Onna who races dirt bikes pops a wheelie and so Grant ( that's what I call him cause he hates it, it's his middle name ) thinks that he needs to try one. Yea I am sure everyone knows where this is going but he biffs it hard!! He has road rash all over and he hurt his ankle. Well he gets up and walks it off like a tough guy, limpin around a bit. Well he goes all week limpin around and showing off his battle wounds from crashing into the ditch thinkin hes a tough dude. Well mom said if he doesn't stop limping by the end of the week she is taking him in to get a x-ray! Well dad called me last night really late letting me know that they were at the emergency room getting a hard cast put on T.J's leg! I could not believe it! He walked around for a week with a fractured fibula! They said it broke straight in half. I guess he's pretty tough, dad said he was pretty mad that he had to have a cast. That does suck! It is the first broken bone that my parents have had to deal with from their children. I have never broken a major bone that needs a cast and Trav hasn't until now! I guess they have been pretty lucky, or should I say Me and T have been pretty lucky!!!

SO MY MA AND PA CAME DOWN FROM WYOMING SO THE GIRLS COULD GO WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING! MOM, ONNA AND JACI CAME ALONG TO GIVE ME A HAND. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN, ALTHOUGH I DID GET SICK OF IT AT THE END! I TRYED ON A TON OF DRESSES, BUT ALL ALONG I KNEW WHICH ONE, WAS THE ONE!!! I DID GET HUNG UP ON ANOTHER DRESS AND THEN I COULDN'T MAKE UP MY MIND. SO I ENDED UP COMPLETELY CHANGING THE FIT OF THE DRESS TO MAKE IT THE WAY I WANTED IT!! IT WAS A LONG DAY AND WE DID A TON OF CHANGES TO THE DRESS. BUT I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE IT! I GO BACK IN FOR MY SECOND FITTING IN THE END OF JUNE. I HOPE IT TURNS OUT JUST PERFECT! THANKS MOM FOR TAKING THE TIME TO COME DOWN AND HELP YOUR FAVORITE DAUGHTER!!! I LOVE YOU!

You can buy it from the ASPCA online and part of the purchase goes to helping animals in need! Pretty cool hu! So I thought that I would give you a quick update on VIPER. She is doing well, she has been healing slow because she is an old lady. But she is doing great! Her second biopsy came back clean so there was no malignant tissue left. Her tumor that she had removed off her foot came back as cancer, however we can not remove any more tissue. The type of tumor she has generally does not metastasize so hopefully it will not return! We love her so much and she loves her new fresh clean teeth! Thanks for all of your concerns, she loves you all for it!

VIPER

Well as you all know I am a huge animal lover! I have way to many pets but they are like my children! I love them all so much people truly can not understand! So we adopted Viper last July from Colorado Rocky Mountain Great Dane Inc. and I love her so MUCH! She has been the best dog ever! Well she came to us with rotten teeth and several lumps. There were 2 really big lumps one on her front paw and one on her back thigh. The lump on her foot started to grow in January. Finally it grew so big that I could not take it anymore and I scheduled her surgery. I was so nervous, I could not even sleep! She is 9 years old and that is really old for her breed. But she has been in perfect condition no health problems except her teeth. So I worried and stressed all weekend before her surgery, praying that she would do okay with the anesthesia. So last Monday she had her teeth cleaned and 6 lumps removed. 4 hours of anesthesia and I was a wreck!! I did not place her IV, draw her blood, NOTHING! I could not even watch! Her teeth were really bad, she had 10 bonded sealant, gum surgery, and dental radiographs done. Then her lumps were taken off via laser. She woke up wonderfully, and had really good blood pressure/heart rate. I was so relieved when it was over. Well we sent off the lumps for a histopathology, they came back cancerous. I was sick to my stomach all over again. After all that she has cancer. Well the pathologist said that her mass on the thigh needed additional tissue taken off, so she had surgery again today. Hopefully we got all the cancerous tissue this time and I can rest a bit. She is such a good dog and she is worth every penny we spent! She is doing well she recovered from her surgery very quickly today and is resting in my office right now!

Cherry Creek!

This weekend was so nice! The weather was amazing! We did some work in our yard, I love working in my yard! I can't wait to plant flowers, I have never done it before so I hope they live! I washed my car and got it all squeaky clean. Then we decided to go out to Cherry Creek to see Jory's family. We took Viper so that she could get out and burn some energy. We drove my car out of course just after I washed it! Yep it was covered in dust! I love going out there, we have not been for a really long time! Jory's cousins Jessie and Justin are getting really good on their dirt bikes! So when we got there Jory and I hopped on a bike and watched them show us all their new tricks! I love riding dirt bikes, I am not very good at it but I still love it! Jory was telling me that he is going to buy me a smaller bike so that I can learn how to ride. Anyways we rode a bit, hung out, and then had to go:( I had to study for my quiz for school so we had to get home. Viper loved it out there, she was not ready to go. So we decided that we had so much fun today, that we are going to go camp out there next weekend! Yay!!!

This past weekend we went up to Jackson Hole for the RMSHA Snowmobile Hillclimbs. It is so much fun! We have been going for the past 3 years. It is held at the Snow King Resort where my dad works! So every year he gets us rooms at the hotel and we watch the riders all weekend. This year it was really cold and it made it hard to sit there all day. So we brought our snowboards to go snowboarding at the resort. It was so much fun, I love to snowboard. Jory snowboarded all weekend, I didn't go on Friday. He was a true board rat all weekend. Jory's sister Morgan and her friend Abby where there with Neil. They boarded all weekend too! We boarded Saturday with Onna and Travis. It was Onna's first time and she did really good! The next day we decided to ski as a family, which we have not done in 13 years!!! I am so glad that we did! Mom and Dad rented skis and we all headed out for the afternoon. Mom was so nervous, she thought that she wouldn't remember how. She was a pro, no worries she did great! Her and dad are really good skiers so I knew they would have no problem! They even hit a black diamond run! It was fun, Onna's brother Darren and her sister Misti and her boyfriend came too! We had a great time, I am glad we got to spend it together. It is funny because we went to watch the Hillclimbs but it ended up being a ski weekend instead! We did go to the Big Air Show and watched all the free style snowmobilers, they are amazing! All in all it was another good weekend!

So I have been looking for a new car for a long long time now! I have been driving Jory's big ol truck, and that is a scary thought! I already wrecked it this summer at the car wash! Yea, I think it is a bit to large for me! So we have been looking for a SUV and I have been really picky. I wanted a smaller SUV rather than a car because I take my dogs with me everywhere! We finally committed to going and test driving a black FJ Cruiser up in Woods Cross. I really thought that I would hate it. But it was really nice! I could actually turn around in a circle with out doing a 90 point turn! Needless to say I fell in love and FINALLY bought it.

For Easter Jory and I decided to go camping in our new horse trailer. We loaded up and went out West. It was a ton of fun. We invited a few people but of course everyone has a life unlike us and had other plans. So we took the kids and just chilled with each other. It was great, we played horse shoes ( Jory won me every time, but I usually give him a run for his money ) and hiked with the dogs a bit. Then we cooked some good food and snuggled in the trailer and watched movies. It was a really good weekend, I can't wait to go again. We love to camp, we always have so much fun.

So I have been meaning to write about Jory's beauty pageant for a while now but I just have not found time! Our computer is not working right now so I have to blog on my breaks at work! Well Jory had a beautiful moment on our cruise, he entered the SEXY LEG CONTEST! It was so freakin funny! It was the last day of our cruise and one of the funniest! There were about 25 guys who entered, some old some young. Most of the guys strutted their stuff, flexing and doing body building moves.........Oh no not Jory! He was a crack up! They started by announcing their names and where they are from, then they play music and they have to walk out to the judges. It was at the pool so everyone is watching! So when they get to Jory's turn they announce his name and where he lives ( not to mention that J is standing in pageant pose with a sarong wrapped around his waist ) and start playin his music. Oh man he walked out dancing ripped his sarong off and strutted up to the judges. He was wearing 5 inch heels and rolled his swim suit up so it was super short! Everyone was lovin it!! It was really funny when he started struttin away from the judges his hat fell off and so he did the booty drop and picked it up! He was total pageant queen it was hilarious! When they are done they have to go back to the stage and stand in line for everyone to look at. All the guys were flexing there muscles and acting tough, Jory is standing with his hip out and posing for Miss America! Needless to say of course he won! They gave out 5 places and Jory was the number one overall winner! He even got a pretty medal! It was great, I am so proud of him!:)

Vacation was wonderful! I was very ready for a break from work and the cold! We left Saturday night from SLC and flew into Denver for a small lay-over. Then we headed out from Denver to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We flew all through the night so we did not arrive until 6:00 am. Lets just say that it was a long night! We flew Frontier and they have Direct TV that you can buy so I bought that and watched Animal Planet all night. It is just to hard to try and sleep on a plane! But once we got there we had a shuttle take us out to our hotel where Jory's Mom and Donovan were staying so we could change and sleep for a bit. We boarded our ship that afternoon and went straight to the Windjammer which is a lunch buffet. I was so hungry! We ate some good food and met up with everyone to make sure we all made it on the boat. Then you have to go to your Mustard drill, the whole boat has to do it! It's where you put your life vests on and go to your assigned station to check in, in case the boat where to sink. Oh man that was boring! But lucky it didn't take to long. I was really nervous to go on a cruise because I am extremely motion sick! Everyone told me I would be fine but oh geez I was nauseous the entire time! We sailed out of port and headed to Key West, which is not to far from the port so we sailed through the night and at a slow rate. Going that slow I didn't really feel the boat and did okay. That morning we arrived in Key West and had until 3:30 to get off and explore. I loved Key West and want to go back for sure! We slept in and didn't get off the boat until later so we didn't have enough time to do much while we were there. We wanted to rent scooters and drive around but we didn't leave ourselves enough time. We walked the streets did some shopping, went into a couple bars for some drinks. Just real low key, hanging out. It was really cute there! Then we loaded the ship and left for Cozumel, Mexico. We layed out on the boat that afternoon and just hung out. We did dinner that night and then Jory and I took the boys miniature golfing. I will tell you what, it is not easy to golf on a moving boat at night with the wind blowing like crazy, but it was fun! After golf we played some basketball and I kicked Jory's butt! The next day we were in Cozumel and we went to a place called Chakanab. It is on the beach and you can snorkel, eat, layout, and shop there. We just chilled on the beach all day and ate some good Mexican food. That night we had a formal dinner where you have to dress up, but me and Jory fell asleep and didn't make it! Then next day we were in Grand Cayman. There we went to Jimmy Buffets and it was so much fun. They had a water slid in the middle of the bar that you could get on. So we played on that and ate some food, I didn't feel good from the sea sickness so once I ate and got on solid ground I felt better. We went on a Catamaran and sailed out to a sand bar in the middle of the ocean where we swam with Stingrays. I hated it!!! They freaked me out! Then we did some snorkeling as well. That night we just hung out on the boat and went to bed, we were pretty worn out. On Valentines day we were in Montego Bay, Jamaica. That was the funnest place of all. We had to be up early and off the boat to make it to our excursion. We did a Canopy tour and Kayaking. It was so much fun, it was so beautiful there. I loved it because it had mountains! We road a bus up into the mountains to our tour guides. There we got all suited up with our gear to Kayak down the river. It was so awesome, and so pretty. We went for about a mile or so then got off and hiked up to the zip line. There we all zipped across the river to the next stand. You are probably 50 - 60 feet in the air I think. It was high! Then we went from that stand to another and then back over the river. It was so stinkin neat I recommend it to anyone who go's there! Then you hike back down and Kayak for another hour or so. The guides are so fun, they were crackin me up! We had water fights and they were tellin us jokes, they were awesome! After you are done kayaking you take a really old bus back to the top and they drive so crazy!!! It was like being on an amusement park ride, no joke! When we got back we had to wait for our shuttle to come pick us up and I found the cuttest kitties! I fed them Cheetos and jerk chicken. They were so cute, I wanted to take them home. The bus ride is gorgeous through the mountains. Its like our mountains mixed with a little jungle. Montego Bay was great and I hope that I get to go back and spend more time there. For Valentines we had another formal dinner so we all got dressed up and had our pictures taken. It was great, the food on the boat is really good. That night we went to a show at the theater and then headed off to bed. The last day we spent on the boat sailing back to Florida and that is when I finally got sick! I did great during the day while we were at the pool but that night when it was time for dinner I was super sick and didn't leave the room. It was the only day I had not gotten off the ship so that is probably why. When we got back to Florida we had all day to hang out before our flight so we rented fans to take us around. We went to the beach and ate at a seafood joint right on the beach. It was so super warm and nice. I didn't want to leave. Florida was really fun too! Maybe I will get to go back there again someday. Our flight home got canceled they moved us to a Delta flight with a layover in Atlanta. We got off that plane and on to another one to SLC. Our plane leaving Florida popped a tire and had to have that fixed as we were trying to leave then we thought we may miss our connecting flight so we were running through the airport to make that flight. That flight got canceled and they put us back on the same plane we just gotten off of and flew us to SLC. Our ride home was crazy but we made it and with all our luggage thank goodness! All in all it was a wonderful trip, lots of good memories! Thanks Neil for everything it was a blast!

So this weekend we went to St.George to stay in the condo with Mindi, Donovan, Jaci and Callan. It was nice to take a break from the snow. We went shopping on Saturday I am trying to get everything I need for the cruise. Then we went to Fiesta Fun and played miniature golf. The weather was nice, we had to put on a light jacket to golf. I was not complaining its better than freezing cold! Mindi and Donovan cooked us a yummy dinner, steak and veggies. We played the Wii while we ate dinner. I am pretty sure no matter what we do or where we go we always end up playin the Wii. Next we went to the movie theater and saw the Bucket List. It was really good, I would recommend it. Today we got up and ate breakfast and hung out. Jory is 23 today! I hope he had a good birthday weekend! He is the greatest boyfriend/fiance in the world. I just want to tell him that I love him very much! He is my best friend, I don't know what I would do with out him! So Happy Birthday J I LOVE you so much!

Shoot I'm Getting Old!!!

Well Mom and Dad came down last weekend to celebrate Me and Jory's Birthdays. We had a great time. Saturday we got up early and went up Santaquin Canyon to shoot clay pigeons with Neil. Jorys grandma and grandpa came up and Joell and Zack were there too! We have not all been shooting together in a long time. We shot over 300 clays in Neils new fancy thrower. Trav and Dad were showing me how to load Jorys gun and they made me smash my thumb! Thats what I get for listening to a bunch of idiots! After shooting we went to Fat Cats to go bowling. Jim, Laurie, Brad, Kim, and Kaleb met us over there. I don't even remember the last time we went bowling together. We had a BLAST! Jim brought his antique bowling ball that was my great grandpas. I was dying it was so OLD it even had the antique case to carry it in! It was funny but pretty neat. Jim is a really good bowler and of course the boys were all makin betts on the games. They piled there money on the table and went to town. Jim won all the games but Dad and Jory gave him a run for his money. Of course we had to eat at the one and only Lacasita! It was so GOOD! Jim and Laurie have the Wii so we went and played that after dinner. I am pretty sure that I have a problem, I am ADDICTED to the Wii! We played darts, skiball and basketball. I love it! Not as much as gutiar hero though. I am sure I could play the Wii all night. Sunday morning we got up and went to breakfast at One Man Band in Santaquin and then my parents had to leave. I love when my family comes to town, we always have so much fun! The weekend was perfect, it was the BEST birthday I have ever had! Jory's birthday is this weekend and we are going to St. George to spend it with his Mom. Then next weekend we fly out for our cruise! Busy month, but I am so excited!

Last weekend we had some friends over for dinner and games. It was fun to just relax and hang out! We are still trying to recover from the Holidays! I cooked Sour Cream Chicken, Yummy Potatoes, Artichoke Dip and Brownies! I have to say it was really good ( i know what my family is thinking; I CANT cook!) I can't believe everything worked out and tasted so good! After we ate we played battle of the sexes and the guys killed us! Icould not believe it! We brought out the shocker game and that is always entertaining. We had a good time just hanging out, we love having our friends over for parties.

Christmas 2007

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We certainly did with lots of friends and family. We started of the month with Grandma Diane's Birthday and the Frampton/Memmott Christmas party. We stayed down in Fillmore for the weekend and had a really fun time! The next weekend we went to breakfast with Mindi and Donovan at the Little America in Salt Lake. After we went tubing in Parleys Canyon. That was a blast. We also went to the Moore Family Christmas party in Payson, it was good to see everyone finally. The weekend before Christmas we went to Wyoming. We got to my parents house on Friday and had our Christmas. The next morning we went to Jackson Hole to stay at the Silver King Hotel. We went tubing at the resort and that was a ton of fun. Mom was so scared it was pretty funny. We did dinner after and Jory and I fell asleep and missed the movie. The next day we did breakfast and off we went to home. Christmas Eve was a blast! We went up Santaquin Canyon and shot clay pigions with the Craig family. It was so much fun, we shot a ton of clays. After that we went to Bob and Jodys to a party with Mindi and Donovan and clan. We ate a spicy indian dinner and had some drinks. Christmas morning was very laid back, it was our first Christmas morning by ourselves. We slept in and enjoyed our time alone. Of course we went and did the rounds stopping in to see everyone and what they got for Christmas. All in all Christmas was wonderful we had a great time with our family and friends!

Happy Holidays!! This weekend was a big weekend we had a great time. My family came down to stay with us for the Moore Christmas Party(hence the sexy photo of grant there, bright and early in the morning lol). Jory had never been to the party in the 4 years we have been dating. I thought it would be a good time to meet everyone since he is going to be part of the family now. We went to Lacasita to eat lunch and meet up with Jim, Laurie and the Fam. You cant miss out on an opportunity to eat at Lacasita, it is the greatest Mexican joint in the WORLD! After lunch we did some shopping and made the rounds to visit family. Then it was off to the party. It was fun to see everyone, I am glad that we went. After the party we went to Scurve and Kerri's house and played the Wii. The whole party was playing taking turns, Dad and Scurve were even playin!! Onna, Grant (Travis) and Dad pretty much dominated. They are just lucky we didn't bring out guitar hero I would have killed them. I am sure they are all hooked on it now. The next morning we got up early and headed out to hang with Jory's family. We met up at Mindi's place and drove up to the Little America for brunch. It was delicious, and well worth the wait. After brunch we went to the tube park in Parleys Canyon. I am pretty sure that was one of the funnest things I have ever done. You look at the hills and they don't look steep or scary but they are very deceiving. They are so much fun! You go a lot faster if you hook your entire group together and go from the very top. We had a blast, we are for sure going to go again! Well I hope everyone has a good Christmas, I can't wait to see everyone.

Thanksgiving was GREAT! We went up to my parents house in Wyoming and had a super good time. Greg and Nancy came from California and brought Shadow dog. We had a really good dinner and played a lot of poker. The day after Thanksgiving we went to Jackson Hole and did some shopping. Viper and Shadow got the cutest bandannas from Harley Davidson that said bad to the bone. That night we went to the high school and watched the Bar J Wranglers preform. Thanks to Onna I got to practice my Guitar Hero skills all night! All in all it was a really good Thanksgiving!

Well I am new to all of this but we will see how it goes??? Jaci and Callan had a Halloween Party at their new home this year. It was so much fun! The costumes were great they killed me. We had a great time all of our friends made it (well almost all of them... HOSS!!!!). Hoss and Ryan didn't make it out from Colorado but maybe next time. Jory and I dressed as Trailer Park Ken and Barbie. We searched for costumes this year and just could not find the right one. We finally made a decision to make our own, and it was a ton of fun! Jory didn't quiet master the puff painting (he did it way to thick so it did not dry which led to smearing) but it made his shirt perfect! I think making and planning our outfits was funner than wearing them. We are so excited that Jaci and Callan moved so close to us. Jaci made us breakfast the next
morning and it was so GOOD.
